Hands-On Wood Window Repair Workshop

As of June 1 we have offically relocated to the old firehouse in Warner, NH. We have a much larger shop, meeting space and much more.

Location: 27 E. Main St Warner, NH 03278

Exit 8 off I89 if coming from the south or I89 Exit 9 if coming from the north.

Class size: Class size is limited so register early

Workshop runs from 9:30 - 4PM

Learn how to repair/restore/maintain your wood windows. We have expanded our workshop to 2 days to provide more indepth hands on experience.

Workshop outline:

Day 1

Lead Safety
Window tools and purpose
Window Assessment
Sash construction
Putty removal methods
Paint stripping
Glass recovery
Minor repairs - loose joints, glazing bars
Hands on practice

Day 2

Epoxy and Dutchman repairs
Glass cutting
Glazing
Painting
Sash rope replacement
Weatherization
Hands on practice of each skill
Handouts with tips and resources

Just $250, all materials, tools and lunch provided. Knowlegdge gained will save you many times the cost of this hands-on workshop. If two attend from the same household or company, the cost is $225 per. See pictures below for examples of what you will learn.
